Rockholm Road

This oceanside summer cottage is perched atop a windswept rocky coast with commanding views. Site inspired rustic stone and a summer palette of seaside plants were used to complement the existing landscape. The entry 'cottage style' garden was designed to blend with the existing ledge and architecture creating an inviting, charming arrival. To shape the rear terrace, existing granite blocks were arranged to echo the curve of the coast. A winding path for universal access makes its way from the rear terrace along the seawall down to the rocky shore.
